The cherry blossoms are in peak bloom right now. Not wanting to miss the show, we spent this morning at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. My friend, Naomi, and her daughter, Michiru, joined us, and after we'd been there for about an hour, we ran into another friend, Melanie, and her three children. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful spring day, and the trees, as you can see below, weren't too shabby either.
