At dinnertime, when he is being picky and difficult, he requests that we spoon-feed him rocket ship bites. 3-2-1...blastoff!...and into his mouth.
He loves to wear his rocket ship shirt.

Remember Garrett's other obsession with Ratatouille? Well, he's still at it. After my mom watched a video of Garrett playing with his toy food and pretending he had a Remy-like rat helping him, she brought with her to Brooklyn the most perfect addition to his collection of kitchen equipment: a tiny rubber mouse. Sometimes Garrett likes to keep it on the counter among his toy food as he pretends to cook (or helps me cook); other times he stashes it on his head under his "toque."
