While Blake's dad was here, we took a family picture. Does Blake look different to you? Because this was taken just a few hours after he was set apart as bishop. And I can see the difference. 
A walk on the promenade. 
Climbing a canon at Fort Hamilton. For those of you who have read David McCullough's 1776, or otherwise know details of the Revolutionary War, this is the site where the British landed and began their march to meet the Continental Army just before the Battle of Brooklyn/Long Island. It's located in our neighborhood just beneath the Verrazano Bridge, and it's now an active military base.

If you look closely, you can see his two [brand new] bottom teeth. You can't see the two that have come in on the top, but trust me -- they're there. 
Breakfast time! Obviously this was taken before Caleb's haircut. But check out that bed head! 
At the park. 
Whenever we come back home, Garrett likes to commandeer my keys in an attempt to unlock the door himself. He hasn't figured out to get it to work, but that hasn't stopped him from trying. 
Within a week we had visits from both grandpas. Here is Garrett putting together a new puzzle with my dad, Grandpa Dave. 
Garrett got the new puzzle, and Caleb got the stacking toy. He loves it (thanks, Mom!), but....
... I think Garrett loves it just as much. 
Caleb's new ability to climb up to a stand has become like a reflex, done automatically whenever there is something nearby to pull himself up on. Unfortunately it doesn't always get him to where he wants to be, and that makes him a bit fretful.

Wow! Blake really looks like a bishop to me!
Lindsay, you have such a beautiful family. I loved reading and looking through your pictures this week. I'm glad you could enjoy quality time with grandparents. I wish you the best with Blake's new calling and hope life continue to treats you all well. Love ya!
These are great pictures! You are so lucky to get to see both your fathers in one week! We also want to congratulate Blake on his new calling - good luck to all!
