As you may recall, Garrett owns a small digital camera. In the months since it has been in his possession, his keen eye and talent have increased (as have, incidentally, the number of blurry and washed out pictures he takes). And, as so many of us in this digital age are, he is also incredibly prolific. By some standards, the combination of these elements now qualify him to open up his own photography business. The question is, should he? You be the judge.

I love it. :)
Isn't it great that kids can experiment with photography nowadays without the fear of wasting film? I remember wanting to try out the camera as a kid, but I was never given the chance because everyone figured I wouldn't know how to take a good picture and subsequently "waste film." I blame my mediocre photography skills on that (it probably doesn't help that I'm too lazy to really dig in and learn more about photography . . .).
We have a very similar file for each of the kids--it's always fun to see the things they find worthy of photographing! (There are about 5 million shots of each of the Cars cars at our house, from all angles and on different backgrounds!)
It's true though--it's so nice to be able to hand them a kid safe digital camera and let 'em go at it--we never got to do that!
We love these! I think he qualifies for Facebook now!
How fun! Nice pics, Garrett! Keep up the good work! Love to see more!
These are awesome. So artistic. All he needs now is a Rebel and he can open up shop. I loved the self portraits. And the snapshot of Caleb crying. Classic.
My bad. He's not crying. Just soooooo happy.
Awesome. Love it! Totally inspired me to hand out a camera as well...
