train gazing

The holiday train show at New York Transit Museum's annex location at Grand Central is one this city's best kept Christmastime secrets. It's free, and if you go at the right time (which in our experience translates to "not during the evening rush"), there are no crowds. Also, it's super awesome. And what little boy is not completely entranced by a small world connected by working model trains?

Oh Peter would love this. We have a model train museum close to us that is pretty neat. I was surprised at how mesmerized Connor was with the trains as well.
