pumpkin picking

Yesterday Caleb and I joined Garrett's class on a trip to a local nursery to pick out pumpkins. Each of the kids got to pick out a small sugar pumpkin to take home, and searching for the best one was highly entertaining for everyone. Caleb was particularly proud of his and begged me to take a picture of him and his prized pumpkin. Garrett and his self-declared "best friend, Sofia" spent nearly all of the outing together, plotting further their play date plans, discussing Halloween costumes, and occasionally sneaking the opportunity to hold hands.
