baby quilting, round four

As signs that this pregnancy is nearing its end become more frequent, I've felt a sense of urgency to finish this baby's quilt. So during those rare bursts of feeling well enough to move around a little, I buckled down and got to work. Yesterday I put in the final stitches.

For this quilt I did a chevron design by using half square triangles. It was a lot simpler to figure out than I initially thought it would be, and in the end turned out to be a very soothing sort of quilt to piece together. I intentionally kept the top less busy in design so as to highlight the awesome vintage print fabric I used on the back.

I love how it turned out. It's far from flawless, but it's come a long, long way from the first quilt I made. This one may just be my favorite of all of them.

It's such a beautiful quilt, Lindsay! Way to go! Isn't it such a great feeling to have it ready for the new little one now? I still haven't STARTED my quilt for Ethan yet, and he's a month old. I've had the fabric for six months. :P

Oh, I really like this one! Love the chevron design. Did you follow a pattern or tutorial? If you did and have a link to it, could you send it to me? Thanks!!
